As Operations Manager, you take ownership of day-to-day operations, from forecasting to fulfilment. You work closely with suppliers, production partners, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure our CE-marked medical devices are available, compliant, and delivered on time.

Job description

Bambi Medical is a MedTech scale-up on a mission to bring softness, simplicity, and wireless monitoring to neonatal intensive care. Our CE-marked Bambi Belt solution enables skin-friendly, cable-free vital sign monitoring, supporting calmer NICUs, safer care, and better bonding between parents and babies.

We collaborate with leading hospitals across Europe and are preparing for further international expansion.

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for building and running reliable operational processes that support this growth. You enjoy solving practical challenges, working closely with suppliers and partners, and continuously improving how things are done.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute day-to-day operational activities, from forecasting to fulfilment
• Coordinate with suppliers, production partners, and logistics providers
• Oversee procurement, inventory levels, and in-house warehouse processes
• Maintain and optimise forecasting processes to ensure product availability
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier onboarding and evaluation
• Work closely with Quality & Regulatory to ensure compliance with medical device requirements
• Support cost control, budgeting, and operational planning
• Report operational performance to management and proactively identify and mitigate risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in an operations role, ideally in MedTech or a regulated environment.
• Hands-on, structured, and comfortable switching between strategic planning and practical tasks.
• Strong communicator who works well with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with forecasting, procurement, and inventory management.
• Affinity with working in a small, fast-moving team where taking ownership is key.
• A results-oriented mindset — you like to build, improve, and deliver.
