Bambi Medical started "First In Man" study

2020-10-27

Bambi Medical has started “First In Man (FIM) Study” at the Amsterdam University Medical Centre. The goal of the FIM Study is to check the performance of the system in the real NICU situation.

For this purpose, we acquire data of Bambi Belt on the actual patient population in the NICU, during routine caregiving. This data is compared with the current standard of monitoring with adhesive electrodes. First measurements have been made and the results look very promising. Neonatologists and nurses that are involved in the study are very positive about the use and performance of Bambi Belt.
