November 17 is the World Prematurity Day which aims to raise awareness about premature birth and prematurely born babies needs. The Bambi-Belt team, while still presenting the belt at MEDICA, had a great opportunity to join an initiative of the day by wearing its official colour - purple at the exhibition.

Besides us, famous buildings in different countries around the world went purple to remind society that every year 15 million babies are born preterm. According to World Health Organisation, more than three-quarters of premature babies can be saved with feasible, cost-effective care, e.g. essential care during child birth and in the postnatal period for every mother and baby.
