Daniel is an entrepreneur with a vast operational experience. He has a strong track record in raising venture capital and non-dilutive funds (€45M+). Previously he founded multiple high-tech startups, and coached other startups during their founding and initial growth phase. He managed a large corporate venture portfolio, evaluated equity participations and performed due diligences to support mergers and acquisitions.

Frits rejoined ASML in early 2001 as a Vice President Customer Support, having previously been with the company from its founding in 1984 through 1992. In this period he has held several positions in engineering, program management and sales. In 2008, he was appointed as an Executive Vice President Integral Efficiency and was appointed as a member of ASML's Board of Management in 2009.  Frits is also a member of the Board of the Stichting Brainport, the Eindhoven Region Economic Development Board.

He served as an interim manager for Van Berkel Patent and AVR (Van Gansewinkel). He is a certified coach. His specific skills are in the field of company development, restructuring and the coaching of management teams. Hans is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Emotional Brain, a pharmaceutical company.
